Registration of Personal Data

In compliance with the provisions of the GDPR and the LOPD-GDD, we inform you that the personal data collected by Crisix, through the forms provided on its pages, will be incorporated into and processed in our file in order to facilitate, expedite, and fulfill the commitments established between Crisix and the User or the maintenance of the relationship established in the forms that the User fills out, or to respond to a request or inquiry. Likewise, in accordance with the provisions of the GDPR and the LOPD-GDD, unless the exception provided in Article 30.5 of the GDPR applies, a record of processing activities is maintained, specifying, according to its purposes, the processing activities carried out and other circumstances established in the GDPR.

Principles applicable to the processing of personal data

The processing of the User’s personal data will be subject to the following principles set forth in Article 5 of the GDPR and Article 4 et seq. of Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December on the Protection of Personal Data and the Guarantee of Digital Rights:

  • Principle of lawfulness, fairness, and transparency: the User’s consent will be required at all times following completely transparent information on the purposes for which the personal data are collected.
  • Principle of purpose limitation: personal data will be collected for specified, explicit, and legitimate purposes.

Categories of personal data

The categories of data processed on Crisix are solely identifying data. Under no circumstances are special categories of personal data processed within the meaning of Article 9 of the GDPR.

Legal basis for the processing of personal data

The legal basis for processing personal data is consent. Crisix undertakes to obtain the User’s express and verifiable consent for the processing of their personal data for one or more specific purposes.

The User will have the right to withdraw their consent at any time. Withdrawing consent shall be as easy as giving it. As a general rule, withdrawal of consent will not condition the use of the Website.

In cases where the User must or may provide their data through forms to make inquiries, request information, or for reasons related to the content of the Website, they will be informed if the completion of any of them is mandatory because such data are essential for the proper execution of the operation carried out.

Purposes of processing personal data

Personal data are collected and managed by Crisix with the aim of facilitating, expediting, and fulfilling the commitments established between the Website and the User or the maintenance of the relationship established in the forms the User fills out, or to respond to a request or inquiry.

Likewise, the data may be used for commercial purposes of customization, operations, and statistics, and activities related to Crisix’s corporate purpose, as well as for data extraction, storage, and marketing studies to adapt the offered Content to the User and improve the quality, functioning, and browsing of the Website.

At the time personal data are obtained, the User will be informed about the specific purpose(s) for which the personal data will be processed; that is, the use(s) that will be made of the collected information.

Retention periods of personal data

This hosting service integrates SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocols, a standard security technology that allows establishing an encrypted (or "secure") connection between the server (the website) and the browser (e.g., Internet Explorer, Chrome, or Firefox). – Web analytics: Google Analytics (Google LLC). This web analytics service uses cookies to help us analyze how users interact with the website. The information generated by these cookies (including the user’s IP address) is transmitted to and stored on Google servers in the United States. 

In compliance with data protection regulations:
 • We have accepted the Google Data Processing Amendment, which ensures that personal data are processed in accordance with the GDPR.
 • Google is not allowed to use the collected data for other Google services.
 • IP addresses are anonymized by default in Google Analytics 4, with additional measures applied to guarantee privacy.

If the Data Controller intends to transfer personal data to a third country or international organization, at the time personal data are obtained, the User will be informed about the third country or international organization to which the data are intended to be transferred, as well as about the existence or absence of an adequacy decision by the Commission.

Personal data of minors

In compliance with Articles 8 of the GDPR and 7 of Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December on the Protection of Personal Data and the Guarantee of Digital Rights, only persons over the age of 14 may lawfully consent to the processing of their personal data by Crisix. If the User is under the age of 14, parental or guardian consent will be required for the processing, and such consent will only be lawful to the extent that it has been authorized by them.

Confidentiality and security of personal data

Crisix undertakes to adopt the necessary technical and organizational measures, according to the level of security appropriate to the risk of the collected data, in order to guarantee the security of personal data and prevent their accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, or alteration, or unauthorized communication or access.

However, since Crisix cannot guarantee the absolute invulnerability of the Internet nor the total absence of hackers or others who fraudulently access personal data, the Data Controller undertakes to notify the User without undue delay when a breach of the security of personal data occurs that is likely to result in a high risk to the rights and freedoms of natural persons. In accordance with Article 4 of the GDPR, a personal data breach means a security breach that results in the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure of, or access to personal data transmitted, stored, or otherwise processed.

Personal data will be treated as confidential by the Data Controller, who undertakes to inform and ensure, by means of a legal or contractual obligation, that such confidentiality is respected by its employees, partners, and anyone to whom the information is made accessible.

Rights arising from the processing of personal data

The User has rights over Crisix and may therefore exercise against the Data Controller the following rights recognized in the GDPR and Organic Law 3/2018 of 5 December on the Protection of Personal Data and the Guarantee of Digital Rights:

  • Right of access: The User has the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not Crisix is processing their personal data and, if so, to obtain information about their specific personal data and the processing that Crisix has carried out or carries out, as well as, among other things, the information available about the origin of such data and the recipients of the communications made or planned thereof.
  • Right of rectification: The User has the right to have their personal data amended if they prove to be inaccurate or, taking into account the purposes of the processing, incomplete.
  • Right to erasure (“the right to be forgotten”): The User has the right, provided current legislation does not establish otherwise, to obtain the deletion of their personal data when these are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were collected or processed; the User has withdrawn their consent and there is no other legal basis; the User objects to the processing and there is no other legitimate reason to continue; the personal data have been processed unlawfully; the personal data must be erased to comply with a legal obligation; or the personal data have been obtained as a result of a direct offer of information society services to a child under 14 years of age. In addition to deleting the data, the Data Controller, considering the technology available and the cost of its implementation, shall take reasonable steps to inform controllers processing the personal data of the data subject’s request for the erasure of any link to those personal data.
  • Right to restriction of processing: The User has the right to restrict the processing of their personal data. The User has the right to obtain restriction of processing when they contest the accuracy of their personal data; the processing is unlawful; the Data Controller no longer needs the personal data, but the User needs them for claims; and when the User has objected to the processing.
  • Right to data portability: Where processing is carried out by automated means, the User has the right to receive their personal data from the Data Controller in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and to transmit them to another controller. Where technically feasible, the Data Controller will directly transmit the data to such other controller.
  • Right to object: The User has the right to object to the processing of their personal data or to cease their processing by Crisix.
  • Right not to be subject to automated decision-making, including profiling: The User has the right not to be subject to an individual decision based solely on automated processing of their personal data, including profiling, unless current legislation provides otherwise.

  • User’s name, surname(s), and a copy of their ID. In cases where representation is admitted, the representative must also be identified in the same way, along with the document proving such representation. A photocopy of the ID may be substituted by any other legally valid means that proves identity.
  • Request with specific reasons for the request or information to which access is sought.
  • Address for notification purposes.
  • Date and signature of the applicant.
  • Any supporting document related to the request made.

If the User considers that there is a problem or infringement of current regulations in the way their personal data are being processed, they will have the right to effective judicial protection and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular, in the State in which they have their habitual residence, place of work, or place of the alleged infringement. In the case of Spain, the supervisory authority is the Spanish Data Protection Agency (https://www.aepd.es/).

II. ACCEPTANCE AND CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

It is necessary that the User has read and agrees with the conditions on the protection of personal data contained in this Privacy Policy, as well as that they accept the processing of their personal data so that the Data Controller may proceed with it in the manner, during the periods, and for the purposes indicated. The use of the Website will imply acceptance of its Privacy Policy.

Crisix reserves the right to modify its Privacy Policy, according to its own criteria, or motivated by a legislative, jurisprudential, or doctrinal change of the Spanish Data Protection Agency. Changes or updates to this Privacy Policy will not be explicitly notified to the User. The User is advised to consult this page periodically to be aware of the latest changes or updates.
